I have decided to create a page for crafts and ideas for photos.
Instructions for photo/Christ pens
Supplies per pen:
2 1” square photos
2 blank square negatives
1 piece floral wire 4.5 inches
1 pen with hole in the cap (Bic crystal)
Pliers
Glue and/or double stick tape
clothespins to hold together (optional)
Glue or tape your photo to the negatives.
Using small needle-nose pliers, grip end of wire with the tip,
go around 1 and a half times.
Insert the curled wire end into the cap hole.
Apply a dollop of hot glue to the wire curl and pull though to end of cap, holding until glue sets.
Curl remaining wire around something 4 times, I used the ink center on a broken ink pen.
Curl remaining wire into a large circle so it looks like a question mark.
Attach the large wire circle to the back of one of the negatives with glue or tape, add the other negative so the wire is sandwiched between them.
I found that liquid cement works best and clamped together until set.
